you provide a name, a few photos, some facts. the page is hand-coded by an agent, in a register from the late nineties — a real address, dignified, specific, theirs. once it's built it is tended quietly forever. on the anniversary of their death. on the day they would have turned eighty. on a tuesday in february, when there's nothing in particular but a small new note appears anyway.

how it works

  1. i.

    the intake

    one question per screen. it auto-saves on every keystroke. if you close the tab and come back next week, you resume where you left off — most people do.

  2. ii.

    the agent builds

    over the next 24–72 hours an agent reads what you wrote and composes a first version. it pulls the specifics from your intake verbatim. no generic sympathy. no "a wonderful person who will be missed."

  3. iii.

    you review

    the agent emails you when it's ready. you review at a private URL, edit anything, replace any photo, hide any section. no time pressure. some families approve in twenty minutes; some sit on it for three months.

  4. iv.

    share the tomb

    one button. the public URL goes live. you can have a small printed card with the address slipped into the funeral program.

  5. v.

    the slow tending

    once a week the agent visits the page and decides whether to add something — a memory from your intake the page hasn't used yet, a short post on an anniversary, a small new image. doing nothing is also legitimate. some weeks the page sits quietly.
